Terms of Service — Clonecode

1. Who we are and what these Terms cover

By creating an account, ticking the acceptance box or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18, or the age of legal capacity where you liveStill under legal review. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you may bind it.

2. What the Service does

You give us the URL of a website. Our servers visit only publicly visible pages, without logging in, and make a copy of what the page serves to any visitor. We then deliver a kit that may include: a local mirror of the page, DESIGN.md, design tokens, PROMPT.md files and CLAUDE.md, plus a report of what did and did not come through.

How it works in practice:

  • Watching the copy is free, within a daily quota. Downloading the kit uses credits.
  • Before you spend anything, we show the cost in credits. Nothing is charged until you confirm.
  • A technical failure does not consume credits. If a job fails, is refused, or is cancelled before completion, reserved credits are returned.
  • We may refuse pages automatically (for example pages with password fields, and sites on our high-risk blocklist). See the Acceptable Use Policy.

3. No guarantee of fidelity

We do not promise that a copy is complete, identical to the original, or that it works when opened. Some pages may come out incomplete; the report lists what did not come through. Sites with anti-bot protection may fail. Dynamic content, scripts, fonts, images, third-party embeds and logged-in content may be missing or broken. Our preview and the report are the only indications of quality we provide; they are not guarantees. See the Refund Policy for what happens if a kit does not open.

4. Your responsibility for what you copy (important)

You are solely responsible for the pages you ask us to copy and for what you do with the result. By submitting a URL you declare and warrant that:

  1. you own the site or have the right or permission to copy its content and to use it the way you intend; and
  2. you will not republish a third party's site, content, brand or design as your own, and will not use the kit for anything prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy or by law.

Websites contain material protected by copyright, trademark, database rights, and other rights belonging to their owners. The kit does not give you any license to that material. We do not verify your rights in advance.Still under legal review

Mentions of third-party tools and brands (Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, v0, ChatGPT and similar) are nominative: they describe where a prompt can be pasted. They do not imply partnership, endorsement or affiliation, and those names belong to their respective owners.

5. Accounts and login

Login uses a one-time link sent to your e-mail. You are responsible for your mailbox and for activity under your account. One account per person; we may limit active jobs per user and daily quotas. Anyone can create an account: it is created the first time you ask for a sign-in link. Give accurate information.

6. Credits, prices and payment

  • Credits are sold in packs, as one-time payments. There is no subscription at launch. Watching a copy is free within the daily quota; there are no free download credits at sign-up.
  • Credits do not expire in the MVP.Still under legal review

  • Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be resold, except as stated in the Refund Policy or required by law.
  • Payments are processed by a third party, [PROCESSADOR DE PAGAMENTO]Still under legal review. We do not store your card data. The processor's terms and privacy policy apply to the payment.
  • Credit use is recorded in a ledger; the balance shown in the app is what applies.
  • Chargebacks and disputes: opening a dispute or chargeback suspends the account and blocks downloads while it is reviewed. If the dispute is lost, we may withdraw the related credits and keep the account suspended. Please contact us first.Still under legal review

Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.

7. Retention and deletion of copies

  • A copy and its preview are kept for 14 days and then deleted from storage. We e-mail a notice about 48 hours before. After deletion we cannot recover it. Download what you need in time.
  • Credits already spent are not returned because a copy expired.Still under legal review
  • Other data is retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use; our right to refuse, suspend and remove

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may, at our discretion and with or without notice where the law allows, refuse a job, suspend or close an account, remove copies, and report unlawful activity to authorities, particularly for phishing, fraud, circumvention of limits, or rights infringements. Repeated infringement ends the account. Reports and removal requests follow the Takedown and Abuse Policy. When we suspend for abuse, we may keep credits unrefundedStill under legal review.

9. Our intellectual property; your content

The Service, its software, interface, and our own texts, templates and generated documents (such as the structure of DESIGN.md/PROMPT.md) belong to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the kits you obtain from the Service for your lawful purposes, subject to your rights in the source site (section 4).Still under legal review

We do not claim ownership of the pages you copy. You grant us the limited permission needed to fetch, process, store for the retention period, and deliver the copy to you. We do not use the pages you copy to train AI modelsStill under legal review.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on providers (hosting, database, payments, e-mail). We are not responsible for their failures beyond what the law requires. See the Privacy Policy for the list.

11. Availability and changes

The Service may be unavailable, limited or changed, including when we pause new copies for maintenance or abuse. We may change features, quotas and prices going forward; purchased credits keep their quantity. We will give reasonable notice of material changes to these TermsStill under legal review.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, fidelity, uninterrupted operation, or non-infringement. Nothing here limits warranties or rights that cannot be waived by law, including consumer rights.Still under legal review

13. Limitation of liability

14. Indemnity

If you use the Service to copy or republish content you have no right to, or breach these Terms, you agree to hold us harmless from third-party claims arising from that use, to the extent permitted by law.Still under legal review

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time via [EMAIL DE PRIVACIDADE]. Deletion is described in the Privacy Policy (ledger and purchase records are kept for tax reasons and the user is anonymised). We may terminate as described in section 8. Sections that by their nature should survive (4, 9, 12–14, 16) will survive.
